ARIAS - Fundraising Events
Since the early 1970's, special projects have been a fundraising feature of our organization. Highlights of earlier years include a cocktail party and fashion show for 3,000 guests at an exclusive Bridle Path home, a dinner preview for the opening of the CN Tower, and an exclusive Yves St. Laurent Fur Collection launch at Holt Renfrew. There have also been theatre previews, trips to the Stratford Festival and the Shaw Festival, the popular Harbourfront Cruise during the International Fireworks Competitions and Sunday afternoon concerts in members' homes, featuring singers from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Music, Opera Division.
