PRESS RELEASE:  COVC to become ARIAS!

The Canadian Opera Volunteer Committee announces that it will be changing its name in the coming months.

After much thought and consideration, a name was selected that would better reflect the organization’s new Mission which asserts its commitment to the development of opera students and singers-intraining in Canada.  It will continue to accomplish this through its support of the many learning opportunities sought out by Canadian opera talent in preparation for a professional career in the opera houses of the world.

Henceforth, the Canadian Opera Volunteer Committee will be known as:

A R I A S: Canadian Opera Student Development Fund
